"I have been pushing for NH Republicans to introduce a bill requiring photo ID in order to vote. 25 states have already done so and the US Supreme Court has upheld a similar law in Indiana. Now measures requiring proof of citizenship in order to register to vote are being considered in at least 19 state legislatures. Looking through my grandfather's papers, I see how hard someone will work to do things the right way. It wasn't easy for a Cuban immigrant to become a citizen. He managed. He earned his right to vote. On behalf of hard working legal immigrants, let's see if we can't get some enterprising soul in NH to step up on this issue.

In choosing a candidate to support, we consider the strength of a candidate's beliefs and their ability and willingness to articulate them clearly.  In the NH-02 District primary, we see 2 candidates hoping to be palatable to everyone, and focused on building consensus.  That left two candidates.  Of those two, we feel that Grant Bosse is doing the most to try to put forth the ideas that we believe in.  We understand that compromise is necessary.  We choose to support a candidate who compromises as the last resort, after trying to convince others that our ideas are the best.  You have to stand for something, and be willing to take that stand.  We like how Grant Bosse takes a stand and we support him. - Steve, on behalf of the national leadership team.
